We all know that Czech beer ranks to be one of the worlds best. But do you know why? What sets Czech beer apart? And how old is the brewing tradition of Prague? Well, just join your beer-loving guide on a tour through Czech brewing history.
In the first part of our tour you’ll have a chance to explore a complete brewing history – we’ll talk about the origin of beer as well as its journey throughout the medieval ages. You’ll learn how beer in medieval ages was made and examined as well as laws brewers needed to obey. More importantly – we’re going to visit an old medieval cellar from 14th century to soak up first samples of local craft beer.
In the second part we’ll move to one of Prague’s finest craft beer pubs, where you’ll learn how to sample beer like a pro as well as enjoy delicious Czech beer specialties. We’ll discuss the current trends in brewing around the Czech Republic and your guide will gladly share with you his beer knowledge and tips on the best microbreweries in Prague.
